Thread veins (face and legs).

Thread veins, or telangiectasia, are small clusters of veins that run close to the surface of the skin. They are a common concern and tend to become more prominent as we age. They are often caused when valves in our circulatory system become sluggish. This results in a backlog of blood flow and allows the veins to become more prominent over time. This is not considered dangerous but can become unsightly. Depending on area size and location, will depend on the best treatment option available to you. Most common treatments being either short wave diathermy or sclerotherapy.
